Pirates: Treasure Hunters is available from today for free at PlayStation®Store for the whole of Europe and America in digital format. This new free-to-play videogame of online multiplayer action does not require the PlayStation®Plus service to be enjoyed.
Virtual Toys is pleased to announce that Pirates: Treasure Hunters, the new MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena), arrives today at PlayStation®4 (PS4 ™) in Europe as well as in America.
Set in a fantastic universe, Pirates: Treasure Hunters takes us back to the heyday of pirates, with a style that reinterprets the stories and adventures of galleons, buccaneers, magic and characters with their own unique background.
In Pirates: Treasure Hunters the action dominates the course of battle through a dynamic and direct character control. Players can choose from a broad range of Hunters, each one equipped with unique weapons and abilities, and take them into battle in exciting online matches up to 12 players (6 vs 6). They will have at their disposal incredible cooperative vehicles in order to defeat their rivals and claim victory.
Players can download the new title entirely free in free-to-play format and will be able to enjoy the online multiplayer without contracting PlayStation®Plus service.
By downloading the game, users that have PlayStation®Plus will obtain a Gift Pack, with no extra cost, that includes: a new Hunter (Captain Harsh), an outfit (Captain Harsh Vest), six spells, a XP boost for seven days, an exclusive emblem and 2,000 silver coins.
The game, with a rating of PEGI 12 and ESRB Teen, is fully translated into the following languages: English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.
