Former Hollywood Technical Director Gets Into Casual Games, Releases Glint

Dodge bombs, collect rings and score exciting power-ups as you climb through the innumerable levels bursting with brilliant colors and striking visual effects in Glint. March 6, 2014 marks the launch date for Glint, the new game from San Francisco-based Ensomniac Studios. Glint is an addictive, fast-paced puzzle game and is the company’s first offering.

Glint is the brainchild of Ryan Martin, former Hollywood visual effects technical director and founder of Ensomniac Studios. Martin designed Glint based on what he learned in Hollywood. Utilizing skills honed while working on movies like “The Avengers,” “Indiana Jones,” “Star Trek” and “Pacific Rim,” Martin designed Glint to be unique, highly visual and extremely polished in order to stand out from other casual games on the market. Glint’s visual appeal creates a deeply engaging experience for players.

Fast-paced and addictive, Glint draws players in and keeps their attention through power-ups, obstacles and increasingly challenging gameplay. Players find themselves dodging bombs, collecting rings and discovering new gameplay mechanics as they move through the game’s many levels, each faster and progressively more challenging than the last. According to Martin, “Glint was designed to be unique, addicting and visually polished. It’s a game unlike any other on the market.”

Glint will be available for the iPhone, iPad and Android devices on March 6. To learn more, visit the Ensomniac Studios website at http://www.ensomniac.com. Glint also has a presence on Facebook and Twitter.
