Known as a great source of relief and relaxation during the recovery after different diseases and just a way to find joy and peace after a hard working day, Magic Jigsaw Puzzles now serves another good cause – charity.
Following the successful Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign (more than $100,000 raised), XiMAD is back with a new initiative to support those who are in need worldwide.
During the month of April, under the motto “Let’s create a better future for PD patients”, XiMAD in partnership with The Michael J. Fox Foundation managed to raise around $25,000 for Parkinson’s Research programs thanks to the valuable support of all XiMAD’s main title players – Magic Jigsaw Puzzles. All the fans were able to purchase specially created jigsaw puzzles collections and the revenue was donated to Team Fox. The contributions are also accepted via the special page on the Team Fox website.
One of the participating jigsaw collections – “Art that cures”- unites the artworks exclusively by PD patients and members of their families. Parkinson’s disease is a progressive disorder of the nervous system that affects first of all movements. The amazing examples of artworks included show how strong these people are, what a great will power they have! And an astonishing desire to live and create in spite of the illness!
And it’s just the beginning! The first days of May were marked with a new start – partnership with World Vision in their Clean Water mission. World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization that is the largest nongovernmental provider of clean water in the developing world. 5% of the revenue from all purchases in Magic Jigsaw Puzzles will be donated.
As Mother Teresa said “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.” So any even small contribution does matter. And uniting players from all over the world, Magic Jigsaw Puzzles team welcomes anyone to join the efforts to spread the word and donate by playing our beloved app.
