After legendary structures such as the Eiffel Tower, the Titanic, Notre-Dame de Paris or the Great Wall of China, Monument Builders’ saga now tackles a 1.7 mile-long iron monster. In “Monument Builders: Golden Gate”, the players will help Joe Bentman, chief engineer of the construction that will become one of the Seven Wonders of the modern World. Hire workers, supply raw materials (concrete, cement, iron, wood…) and react to Mother Nature’s bad surprises: these are some of the main tasks the players will be responsible for.
Of course, four years were necessary to build this structure and it was no bed of roses. Therefore, the new builders will have to face unexpected and random elements: dangerous flows, violent winds or sea fog loaded with corrosive salt: all will be a challenge throughout the 50 levels of the game. In each of them, specific goals will have to be reached as quickly as possible to collect the maximum points at the end of the mission, as well as the three stars for the quickest.
Although “Monument Builders: Golden Gate” is a game before all, it also brings an educational point of view for the youngest (and oldest) to learn many genuine fun facts about how the prestigious structure was built.
The players will also have to keep the journalists posted about how the construction work is progressing, because the San Francisco inhabitants are eager to hear about this huge bridge that will help them save a great amount of time.
This ninth title from the “Monument Builders” saga includes all the elements that made the series such a success. The players will have to find the right strategy to be able to write their name in the history of San Francisco!
