Nomad Games is this week releasing free DLC to all owners – current and future – of Talisman: The Horus Heresy.
The Erebus DLC pack is due to hit the live game on Tuesday March 29th.
Erebus is one of the most prominent members of the Word Bearers Legion and a member of the Dark Council of Sicarus. He was the harbinger of the Horus Heresy, instrumental in converting first Lorgar and then Horus to Chaos.
Talisman: The Horus Heresy is a digital board game based on the Talisman rule system and set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, during the cataclysmic events of the Horus Heresy.
Up to four players are able to take control of one or more of the galaxy’s greatest heroes or most notorious villains. Taking the side of either traitor or loyalist, these Warlords will form vast companies of Space Marines, battalions of tanks and battle fleets of spacecraft.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the reaction we’ve had to Talisman: The Horus Heresey since we released the game on Steam earlier this year,” said Nomad Games Managing Director Don Whiteford. “As a thank you to our fans, we’re happy to offer up the Harbinger Erebus as a free character DLC. Erebus was one of the chief players around the time of the Heresy, and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the table when people start playing with him.”
Nomad Games first brought the multiplayer version of the Games Workshop board game Talisman to PC, tablets and mobile devices in 2014, with the brand selling over one million units to date. Talisman: The Horus Heresy will see several DLC packs throughout 2016, with new heroes, villains, and more as part of the optional add-on plans. Talisman: The Horus Heresy is also being released on Android on March 29th, with the iOS version to follow.
