The newest installment for Gameday’s puzzle escape series, Doors & Rooms 2, has been released today worldwide on both the iOS and Android stores. It is the sequel to the #1 free Puzzle and Adventure game in the App Store in 51 countries, and the #1 free game in the App Store in 12 countries with over 10 million downloads. The international developer, Gameday, is a pioneer for making “escape” style games where players must exercise their minds to solve each stage. Gameday published the popular Roombreak series and the original Doors & Rooms in 2013; they are now looking to improve the genre as a whole with Doors & Rooms 2.
Doors & Rooms 2 features improved and high quality HD graphics over its predecessor. Each stage contains the main puzzle in finding an escape route, and also a secondary puzzle for those who want to push their sleuthing skills to the limit. There are over 20 tough stages to solve, with more stages promised by the developers in future updates. As players proceed, stages get harder, and more attention need to be paid to the smaller details. Players must think outside of the box to discover and use the clues around them, even sounds, to solve their way out of all types of rooms, ranging from living rooms, to a school and a subway.
