WARGAMES: WOPR LAUNCHED ON SAMSUNG APPS

Based on the 1983 film from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (MGM), WARGAMES: WOPR positions the player as the under-threat AI supercomputer WOPR, pitted against characters from the movie, including David Lightman (played by Matthew Broderick), Jennifer Mack (played by Ally Sheedy) and McKittrick (played by Dabney Coleman), among others.

Be-Rad Entertainment worked with 100% Indie to publish the puzzler on the Samsung Android App store: “100% Indie provided invaluable support in the process, making it as smooth as possible from submission through to publication,” said Be-Rad’s president, Brad Johnson.

The 100% Indie initiative is a collaboration between Samsung and Chillingo, which aims to help populate the Samsung Apps marketplace with high quality games, while also nurturing and supporting indie developers of all sizes by helping them through the testing process and giving them marketing support, as well as a market-leading revenue share.
