Winter flight action in Red Bull Air Race – The Game

The racing game Red Bull Air Race – The Game has received an extensive update just in time for the winter. Since its official release in September 2014, the title, which brings the fastest motor sport series in the world to smartphones and tablets, has thrilled players all over the world and is available for free both on the App Store and Google Play. The winter content update, which is now available, offers players a new location with several courses, a special campaign with new races and events, and new aircraft paint jobs.

The new location, Iceland, offer pilots four new, detailed courses, on which there are over 60 new events to master. Winning match-ups against six pilots from the Red Bull Air Race will also unlock holiday paint jobs, which will only be available until the beginning of January.

Another change in the update affects equipping aircraft in the hangar. The five different upgrades available thus far have been divided into five sub-steps each, allowing players to upgrade certain mechanisms earlier depending on the strategy.

In addition to the holiday paint jobs in the new campaign, there is also the option of painting aircraft in national colors. Along with the previously available American and Canadian flags, there are now nine more paint jobs in the national colors of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Russia, Brazil, and Japan.

About Red Bull Air Race – The Game:
Just like in real life, the action-packed racing game starts pilots off with training in the “pilot camp”. The camp in Brazil prepares the players for the racing season and teaches them the aircraft controls in numerous training units. In the career mode, just like in the real Red Bull Air Race World Championship 2014, the goal is to earn the winner’s cup in races on three continents. All the courses in the game are modeled closely on the originals and are unlocked gradually. Six different aircraft, each with its own special flight characteristics, are available on release for action-packed duels. In the virtual hangar, they can be repainted and equipped with upgrades that provide even more speed and aerodynamics. In Matchup, players are challenged by the 23 pilots of the 2014 Red Bull Air Race World Championship, who appear in the Master Class or Challenger Class.

Those who have more fun in thrilling duels than pursuing a pilot career can try their hand in the global Tournament mode, in which they must face other players from all over the world. Players who want to prove their mettle here must go through the same steps as in the real Red Bull Air Race in tough duels: Training, Qualifying, Top 12, Super 8, and Final 4. New events every week also provide variety.

No matter what mode you choose in “Red Bull Air Race – The Game”, only quick reactions and sure instincts will lead to victory in the rapid motor sports action. The score is provided by music from Heaven’s Basement, with the official song of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship, and songs from AWOLNATION, Blitz Kids, Five Knives, and Beartooth.
