Hungarian gamedev team of three today announced, that their first indie game, Bugs vs. Aliens, is now available on Google Play and Amazon Appstore for Android. Bugs vs. Aliens is a 3D-action runner where players have to lead their team of Bug Heroes into battle and defeat alien invaders before they can achieve total victory!
Bugs vs. Aliens features a intelligent flocking character behaviour powered by physics and AI (based on Boids, an AI model developed by Craig Reynolds in 1986), that is highly unique to the genre. The game offers 50+ score levels, 29 Google Play Games/Amazon GameCircle achievements and 10 leaderboards, backed by a high-score-driven team system and ingenious boosters.
„After testing the waters on Apple’s platform and getting more than 150,000 downloads in two months, we are launching now on Google Play and Amazon Appstore, delivering on our promise to bring Bugs vs. Aliens to every device that matters.” – said Jacint Tordai, to-be CEO of Keemba Studios, the not-yet-established studio behind the game. „We are delighted to retain the all-time rating average of the game at 4.25/5 and now seeking to scale up our player base and reach.” – said Tordai.
Bugs vs. Aliens is now available for free in all Google Play countries and all Amazon marketplaces.
The game offers In-App Purchases, including virtual currency packs, Bug Heroes, booster packs and revivals. It supports devices running Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) and above, all Kindle Fire models as well as the brand new Fire phone.
