Nomad Games has today raised the stakes in the digital tabletop sector by announcing Backgammon Blitz, the first dedicated Backgammon game on Steam, which will be available worldwide from Thursday 12th November, 2015.
The specialist table-top games publisher has joined forces with leading independent developer VooFoo Studios to present a carefully crafted digital makeover of this classic game of skill and luck.

Backgammon Blitz on Steam is the most authentic and immersive version of Backgammon to date. Pair up with opponents in real-time, challenge your friends locally and online as you take on challengers across the globe with online ranking leader boards.
Designed specifically for two players, online or offline on the same screen, the game also boasts a solo mode that, along with the included tutorials, is an excellent way for a player to develop their basic skills. An Instant Play button links available players, while Steam Invites allow players to organise games in a more formal way.
