Unpossible managed to stay alive long enough to take the number two slot on the Qi Android games chart for August. It’s an incredibly slick 3D auto-runner with a devilish learning curve. Just behind at number three, The King of Fighters ’98 brings one of the most comprehensive one-on-one beat-’em-ups ever made to Android. Choose your character and take them into multiplayer battle. Things are a lot more peaceful at number four in Deep Under the Sky. This beautiful physics puzzler sees you carefully firing intergalactic jellyfish seeds into the designated receptacles. Yep, it’s a little bit psychedelic. We have another space adventure at number five in Bik, albeit of a very different kind. This is a retro-styled point and click adventure with suitably pixelated graphics and a warm sense of humour.
BrainPOP UK has all the answers at the Qi Android apps chart for August. It’s a colourful educational app that covers a broad range of topics in an inviting style. Down at number four Fluent Mail is a powerful email app that allows you to consolidate and preview multiple email accounts from one intuitive app. Sticking with the productivity theme is ClickMeeting, which is next up at number 5. This app brings the established web conferencing and webinar software to Android devices. Finally, at number seven, Notepad + makes taking notes on your Android device easy. You can handwrite or type your notes, as well as sketch ideas and make lists.
