NOMAD GAMES RESHUFFLES ‘SMASH UP’ TO HIT DESKTOP AND MOBILE GAMERS (Video)

The award winning deck shuffling game goes digital with the makers of Talisman Digital Edition.

Today Nomad Games is delighted to announce it is developing a new digital adaptation of the game Smash Up! This popular AEG title will be available for mobile, tablet and desktop devices later in 2016.

Smash Up, designed by Paul Peterson, is an award winning Shufflebuilding game from Alderac Entertainment Group. In Smash Up players choose two factions, such as pirates, ninja, robots, zombies, and more, and shuffle them together to form one formidable force to combat enemy bases and lead to world domination!

Up to four players will be able to take control of a vast array of crazy characters, from Superheroes to Monsters and Villains, and play against the AI or together with friends online or at home with pass-to-play.

“This will be a great way to play Smash Up and will give players a chance to explore the game and, more importantly, learn how to become really good at it! AEG is a world leader in board and card games and Nomad Games is incredibly proud to be working with their team. We hope the digital version will be popular with existing card players, and encourage new players to join the fun.” – Nomad Games MD Donald Whiteford

Smash Up digital will see optional DLC being developed true to the existing expansion packs, with new characters that will appeal to every family member. More news on expansion packs is forthcoming.

Nomad Games first brought the multiplayer version of the Games Workshop board game Talisman to PC, tablets and mobile devices in 2014, with the brand selling over one million units to date. The team pride themselves in developing digital board game adaptations that are a true reflection of the physical versions.
