E-Line Media and Cook Inlet Tribal Council, co-developers behind this year’s hit indie game Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna), have launched an online store for the atmospheric cooperative puzzle platform game. Currently available on Steam for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for $14.99 USD, the PC Steam version of the game can now be purchased and ‘gifted’ at the Never Alone website, with the gifting of a non-Steam PC version to follow the week of December 15th.
“The broad appeal of the game, the strong female main character and – most importantly- the two-player local cooperative game play makes Never Alone a great experience for couples, siblings or parent and child to play together,” said Larry Goldberg, COO of E-Line Media. “We wanted to make it easier for people to give Never Alone to the gamers in their lives to enjoy together over the holidays.”
In addition to announcing its online store, E-Line Media has revealed plans to release a Mac version of Never Alone early in 2015, with additional platforms still under consideration. The development team is also hard at work delivering smarter companion AI, improved bola accuracy and other enhancements – all available in a patch that was released for the PC last week. That patch will be submitted to both Microsoft and Sony this week, and available for the PS4 and Xbox One upon first party approval.
