With Super Bowl 50, the entertainment industry has taken all efforts to bring to market new products that target one of the biggest sports events of the world. Following this trend, Button Football is a new release for mobile devices that is based around American Football, but this time presented as a button strategy game.
“We had the idea of transforming American Football into a button board game, so we could bring the sport to a broader audience, with very simple and casual game mechanics that also require strategy. With this in mind, we created a brand new football experience for fans everywhere”, said Mauricio Alegretti, VP of Games at Smyowl, the studio that created the title.
The game have two modes: players can enter the “Smyowl Bowl” against CPU teams in a playoff setting; and also “VS Mode” where two human players can compete head to head in a single device.
Button Football is already available for free download on Apple Store, Google Play, Amazon, Windows Store and Windows Phone Store.
