Charming Matching Puzzle Game ‘Puzzles and Pixies’ Now on Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8

Finnish multiplatform game developer 10tons Ltd. announced today the charming mathing game Puzzles and Pixies is now available for Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 devices. The game is free to download.

“We’re delighted to bring Puzzles and Pixies to Microsoft’s platforms and engage the casual audiences there with another great game.”, says Tero Alatalo, CEO of 10tons.

The goal of Puzzles and Pixies is to string together similarly colored butterflies. The minimum match is two and there’s no upper limit. When five or more butterflies are matched, a powerup appears in the form of a magical pixie. Longer matches summon more pixie powerups and grant extra score.

Puzzles and Pixies features in app purchases, but none are required to fully complete the game.
