Launching today for Lenovo’s Phab 2 pro, is Climax’s title ‘Towers for Tango’. A simulation tower building game designed exclusively for smartphone augmented reality.
“With the recent, massive success of Pokemon Go and overall interest in AR, we are really excited to launch our latest AR title.” Says Simon Gardner, CEO. “We feel we have created a game that utilises the new technology and adds an element of magic and wonder.”
‘Towers For Tango’ was developed by Climax’s new studio in Auckland New Zealand and is their first title.
Studio Head, Andy Wilton added
“To be releasing our first title within 6 months of opening is fantastic, and a great testament to the team we are building here. For it to be an AR title, helps put us on the map as the forefront of new technology”
‘Towers For Tango’ lets players become budding building tycoons with the power to build their own personalised tower. With the ability to place the tower in your own reality and then observe your residents as they go about their daily routines. Day to day you have to keep your residents happy, fend off incoming disasters and reach a 5 star rating to build the skyscraper of your dreams.
Tango is a set of sensors and computer vision software that enables augmented reality (AR) experiences on your smartphone, including utilities, gaming and education, so you can do more, play more and explore more. The Phab2Pro is the first Tango-enabled smartphone. The phone has two additional sensors and computer vision software to enable augmented reality (AR) experiences on your phone.
Towers for Tango launches today for $2.99/£2.89 through the play store exclusively for Lenovo’s Phab 2 Pro, the first Tango enabled Smartphone.
