Climax Studios announced the release of Gun Sight, an explosive sci-fi side shooter exclusively designed for VR. Power through Space in a blaze of bullets, madness and Metal!
‘With our third title for the Gear VR platform, we have taken all our previous VR learnings and created one of the stand out games for the emerging platform.” says Climax CEO, Simon Gardner. Gun Sight’s release follows on from successful launch titles Bandit Six and Bandit Six Salvo.
“We have paid homage to some of our favourite arcade titles like Metal Slug and Contra, but managed to deliver a unique experience only possible in VR.” says Ian Hudson, Lead Designer on Gun Sight.
Playing Colonel Jack ‘Knife’ Devers, last of the infamous War Dogs, you must wage a brutal one-man crusade to save the solar system from the relentless robot hordes. Gun Sight also throws in the extra dimension of 3D depth, overpowered “look to aim” super-weapons, beautiful 360 environments and unique cel-shaded artwork, harking back to it’s vintage influences.
