Fringe Theory
Fringe Theory spawned from the desire to create a that had a deep and immersive story, wonderful survival gameplay, and beautiful graphics. As a team we want to build a game that doesn’t shy away from serious issues. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is something a couple of our team members have had direct encounters with. Men and Women everyday struggle to keep their nightmarish memories out of their heads and we want to exemplify that through our story. But why make a game? Because they are immersive, they trigger multiple senses in the brain and really bring the story to life in front of your eyes. So instead of just surviving by collecting your basic needs, the player will also be addressing the characters mental health. As night falls morale drops, but success in finding a new location or simply lighting a fire will immediately increase morale. All of this exploration will be aided by the beautiful art style created by our team. We hope you’ll join us on this journey, it’s going to be a plethora of fun.

Fringe Theory is a story driven survival thriller about two men who suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, their journey as they uncover the mysteries of the island they are trapped on, and their fight to keep sane.
