Curve Digital today announced the release date of Qora, a mystical adventure game from film-maker Holden Boyles, who successfully Kickstarted development of the game (under the working-title of Spirit) in April 2014. The game is now scheduled for release worldwide on September 25th.
Curve has marked the announcement with the release of a short teaser trailer, showing some of the many locales the player will experience in the game, most of which have never been seen before.
Qora is a gorgeous pixel-drawn adventure through a series of stunning landscapes, as the player attempts to explore a mysterious temple, discovering ancient mystical forces along the way. With roots planted firmly in adventure games of old, Qora is both a fresh new look at the genre and a homage to those which have gone before it.
Qora’s launch will continue Curve Digital’s mission to bring exciting, independently-created games to the attention of gamers who might have missed them otherwise. Curve has a great deal of experience publishing titles on PC among other platforms, so the partnership with Holden Boyles was a perfect fit.
