Natsume Inc., a worldwide developer and publisher of family-oriented video games, announced today a new title launching in North America for the PlayStation®Portable and available exclusively through the PlayStation Network, End of Serenity. This traditional Japanese RPG was created by KEMCO, the same developer that was behind last year’s hit Mystic Chronicles, and is due out this summer.
“Mystic Chronicles ended up being a surprise fan favorite in 2013, and we’re happy to bring players a game that will have a similar appeal to our North American audience,” said Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO at Natsume. “Inspired by the look and feel of old school, 16-bit RPGs, we feel our fans will really connect to the game’s look, feel and story.”
Throughout history, mysterious objects known as “Atomigems” have existed all over the world. The people of the world have used them for many things, from simple family heirlooms to even objects of worship. However, recently, a gang known as the Underworld has been going around collecting any and all Atomigems they can find. What exactly is their aim?
With over 120 unique skills that can be used both in and out of battle, End of Serenity provides an amazing level of customizable gameplay. You can even summon giant beasts during battle to inflict tons of damage on unsuspecting foes! End of Serenity will be playable during the Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3), running from June 10th through June 12th, 2014!
Players will want to watch for exclusive first screens and info at www.natsume.com, and by following www.natsume.com/facebook and www.twitter.com/natsume_inc.
