Create a Thriving Medieval Empire in “Townsmen” (Video)
HandyGames™ and Headup Games today announced Townsmen, a medieval-era city-building strategy game for Windows PC that is coming to Steam on November 30.
Remember Anno and The Settlers in their greatest days? Townsmen breathes the true spirit of these classic genre flagships while bringing its unique fresh style and look in wonderful HD graphics to the home computers.
Players will manage elaborate settlements and expand their villages into massive kingdoms with booming economies and thriving populations. By mining ore, harvesting forests and collecting taxes, players will become the ultimate Lord Mayor of their kingdoms, but they must be careful – overtax the citizens and they’ll go on strike, bringing the empire to its knees.
Also, there are cruel bandits in the area, and players will need to build barracks and guard towers while recruiting soldiers to protect the citizens from harm. There’s always a job that needs to get managed when you’re the benevolent ruler of a grand kingdom!
About TownsmenGrow your tiny village into a grand medieval empire with a thriving economy and happy villagers! Find spots for mining ore, harvest crops and collect taxes from your citizenry.
