Frozen Synapse Prime is coming to PlayStation®3 in November!

Double Eleven are really pleased to announce that Frozen Synapse Prime is planning its descent onto PlayStation®3 in Europe, America and Asia in November.

The definitive turn-based strategy game will be released together with Prime’s soundtrack, both on its own and in the Prime Soundtrack Edition bundle across all stores.
Prime was first released on the PlayStation Vita in September after almost two years of dedicated development from the team at Double Eleven. Achieving an 84 metacritic, it was met with positive critical response from both press and fans and the team are delighted to be bringing it to PS3 in November.

Frozen Synapse Prime in a Nutshell
For those new to the game, Prime is an asynchronous turn-based strategy game that allows players to take on multiple matches simultaneously. It also features a rich single player campaign set within a dystopian future, where you take on the role of a tactician to a resistance group attempting to prevent an evil corporation from taking over a city.

In Prime, players on two separate teams plot paths and issue orders to their squad members, creating a plan on a turn-by-turn basis. They can simulate the plan before committing to it but players then commit to them fully; this is called “Priming” a turn. Both plans are then played out and the resulting combat ensues!

Players will learn to develop their own strategies and try to predict those of their opponent in order to be the ultimate victor. There are various match types in Prime, meaning a player can be faced with various objectives, whether they need to predict their opponent’s strategy, wipe them out or complete a set of match objectives. The mind games between players are what keep it interesting, combine this with randomly generated maps, distinct match types and a very open combat system and this guarantees that no two matches will ever be the same.
