The free version, Crush Brazil Maracanazo Edition, celebrates one of the greatest moments in international soccer history. Uruguay stunned heavy favorite and host, Brazil, in the 1950 final at Rio de Janeiro’s Maracana Stadium. In Pixel Cup’s Maracanazo Edition, players try to score for Uruguay in a limited amount of time. But each Uruguayan goal adds more time to the clock and another chance to score again. Just don’t let Brazil score, because even one goal ends the game.
“Pixel Cup Soccer celebrates the history of the beautiful game – both on the international level as well as the video game version with its stunning pixelated graphics, easy controls, fluid gameplay and social features,” Pixel Cup Socer executive producer Flavio Caiafa said. “We want players to have fun playing our game throughout and well after this summer’s major soccer tournament has crowned the world’s next soccer champion.”
