Munin – Norse puzzle fun from Daedalic Entertainment now available for iPad

The Hamburg-based publisher Daedalic Entertainment has released Munin, an exciting 2D puzzle platformer from the Portuguese developer Gojira, for iPad. Munin is now available on the Apple App Store.

The raven Munin is a loyal messenger of Odin, the father of the gods. But one day, he falls prey to a capricious prank by Loki and is transformed into a little human girl, and his feathers are stolen. The feathers are scattered across all the worlds of Yggdrasil, and Munin can only regain his true form once he has found them all. Players must undertake a fantastic journey through the world of Norse mythology and solve tricky puzzles and riddles.

The 2D puzzle platformer Munin combines classic side-scrolling gameplay with screen elements which can be rotated 360°. By turning the different screen elements, players open blocked paths, overcome obstacles, and create new passages. Thus columns are converted into bridges, and the ceiling of the cave suddenly becomes a safe crossing. Along with classic switches and moving levels, the physical properties of a wide variety of objects in the game can also be put to clever use in order to move forward, giving Munin even more game depth. Liquids such as lava or water begin to flow thanks to rotation, stones and boulders fall into the depths thanks to gravity. In order to help players keep from becoming disoriented, Norse runes point the way to the lost feathers.

The mix of Norse mythology and tricky puzzles makes Munin an extraordinary game experience. In a total of 77 exciting and challenging puzzle levels and around seven hours of game fun, Daedalic Entertainment provides a long-lasting game experience.

Munin is now available for iPad at the price of € 2.69 in the Apple App Store.
