Spectacular mobile racer launches with unique video sharing feature
Amsterdam, The Netherlands – Lunagames, today unveiled their new explosive racing game Crash and Burn Racing which is available now for free on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Windows Phone Store.

Crash and Burn Racing is a high impact racing game, especially developed for mobile. Players will be put behind the wheel of crazy vehicles that are fitted with over-the-top weaponry and power-ups such as a nitro charger, bombs and homing missiles. The sole purpose of the game is to create as much havoc as possible by taking out rivals and preferably causing a fair share of civilian casualties in the process.
Crazy cars and customization options
Players get to drive in fast super cars, ambulances, fire trucks and even a heavily armoured school bus. Each of the vehicles can be fully upgraded and customized to meet the driver’s destructive needs. With each successful takedown money is earned which can be used to upgrade cars. Aerodynamic upgrades will improve the vehicles’ handling and top speed and several paint-jobs are available from the in-game store. Other customization options include adapting the car’s rims and tires. Furthermore, it is possible to add and change neon lighting underneath each ride.
Sharing is caring
The player’s run will stop if he or she crashes, but the fun doesn’t end here. Once the game detects the start of a crash it will commence recording gameplay. The recorded clip can be shared on social media. Currently sharing is supported on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Lunagames is confident that this sharing feature combined with the spectacular nature of the game will increase its discoverability and virility.
“Sharing gameplay videos is common now on PC and console thanks to built in sharing features and freely available software that allows for capturing gameplay,” said Jeroen Mol, Game Development Manager at Lunagames. “On mobile, sharing video content remains tricky due to available processor power and limited available internal memory, but we still wanted to offer the same type of service to our community. With Crash and Burn Racing we have made it work for most iOS and Android devices, so that’s a good start. Currently the video sharing feature is supported by iPhone 4S/iPad 2/iPod 4th generation or later models and high-end Android devices.
