Fast Fishing, will be available to purchase on the MacGameStore

Strange Flavour’s arcade action fishing game, Fast Fishing, will be available to purchase on the MacGameStore.com from today. This version will herald a slight change of direction for Strange Flavour from the Mac App Store version in that it is designed around not having any IAP.

Aaron Fothergill, Strange Flavour’s CEO and Lead Coder, says “While we’ve been experimenting with our PlayNice system to make freemium style games and IAP fair and fun for players, we’re still not happy with the complexity these payment systems bring to game design. As a result of this, we’ve decided to go back to a system where players simply pay a reasonable price for our games, and our games continue being fun and fully featured. Nice and simple.”

The MacGameStore.com version of Fast Fishing will be Strange Flavour’s first trial of keeping things simple. They also intend to release new paid versions of their PlayNice games on iOS and OS X over the next year, as well as releasing some exciting new games!
