Following a collaboration with Coffee Stain Studios, Double Eleven are launching Goat Simulator on PS3 and PS4 this week!
For anybody out there who is unfamiliar with Goat Simulator, PlayStation owners now get the chance to be a goat and cause an inordinate amount of chaos and destruction on PS3 and PS4. A game that has often been described as “The latest in goat simulation technology”, It has been compared to an old school skating game, but instead of getting points for doing tricks, the player gets points for wrecking stuff. Destroy things with style and even more points will be awarded! Here are some key highlights for prospective players:
● You can be a goat
● You can blow stuff up
● Multiplayer – local co-op allows for 2 players on PS3 and up to 4 players on PS4.
● You can headbutt stuff
● You can fly (with the help of a helicopter or jet pack)
The long-awaited GoatVR will also be included in this version of Goat Simulator. The experience is so close to actually having a headset on that the developers expect a lot of players to instinctively reach to remove the headset after a game session, even though they never put one on in the first place!
Double Eleven partnered with Lucid Games for the development of Goat Simulator on Playstation and both studios have given their reassurances that the game retains the millions of bugs that gave the original its cult status.
Goat Simulator will launch August 11th in the Americas and August 12th in Europe.
