Launch of new game features training upgrade designed with the Special One himself
Top Eleven 2016 upgrades management experience for 130 million users on Android and iOS, as well as a new and improved browser-based version
Top Eleven, the world’s most popular online sports game, has today launched its new 2016 version, including a new training feature designed with Jose Mourinho. The ‘Special One’ returned to the dressing room to provide input into a totally new training feature in Top Eleven 2016, as well as bringing his tactical words of wisdom to players as they manage their teams to glory. Top Eleven 2016 is free-to-play and is available today on iOS, Android and Facebook.
Top Eleven already has more than 130 million managers around the world, who are now able to enjoy the thrill of even more realistic football management on iOS and Android, as well as a hotly anticipated new version on Facebook.
“Training your team is the most important part of being a successful football manager – it is the difference between winning leagues and failing,” said Jose Mourinho. “That’s why I helped create Top Eleven 2016.”
Developed by Nordeus and specifically designed for cross-platform support across mobile and the web, Top Eleven allows players to manage their own football club, controlling everything from their team’s tactics and transfers to club finances and stadium expansion.
Top Eleven’s new Training feature brings the most engaging tactical training simulation to mobile yet, allowing managers to truly influence their players’ physical and skill improvements, as well as how their chosen tactics work. The new training feature gives managers the ability to:
● Develop the individual skills of players
● Create bespoke training plans
● Earn team bonuses (attacking, defensive, physical and mental) that improve team performance during matches
● Create new training drills to strengthen their team’s skills even further
New videos exploring these updates as well as a range of other improvements are available on the Top Eleven YouTube channel.
Commenting on the launch Branko Milutinovic, CEO, Nordeus said: “In Top Eleven 2016, we have created game within a game, offering more immersive experience for our players on a daily basis. With our new training feature players will need to take a more strategic approach to their gameplay, stepping even further into the shoes of a true football manager. By creating a way for players to customise their game plan, we are enabling our players to be much more involved with their teams every day.
“Top Eleven, the game we founded Nordeus upon back in 2010, continues to go from strength to strength and we’re extremely proud to continue our partnership with José Mourinho. Making great games is at the heart of what we do and we’re excited to see our players’ reaction to these latest updates.”
This year sees Top Eleven enter its sixth year in the market with no signs of its rapid growth slowing down. The game has become one of the world’s most played online sports games with more than 130m registered users worldwide, and over 3m daily active players.
