Actors discuss their role in telekinesis-themed first-person VR puzzle game
Coatsink today released a developer video, unveiling the role of two of their main voice actors: Nick Frost and Eric Meyers. Frost and Meyers discuss their characters as well as their personal experience of playing the game in VR.
Meyers reprises his role of Geoff, the beloved ESPR agent from the first game, whereas Frost takes on the role of Ernie, another ESPR agent and a newcomer to the series. Speaking of his own experience with the Gear VR, Frost says he “was surprised how compact it was. There were no wires running into my spine, or brain… or anus”.
Playing the role of ESPR agent Bernie, British actor Nick Frost is best known for his roles in feature films including Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World’s End and the cult television comedy Spaced. Eric Meyers is a professional actor and voice artist, who reprises his role as Geoff for Esper 2 and has acted in feature films including The Special Relationship, 1408 and Snatch as well as providing the voices for characters in video games including Soma, Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds and Space Channel 5 Part 2.
Esper 2 is currently available for $9.99 on the Samsung Gear VR store, and will be a launch title for the Oculus Rift.
