With diverse and entertaining minigames to play and local multiplayer against friends; with crazy physics as the planets you must hop between have varying gravitational strength, this game truly takes the style of easy to learn but hard to master in every game you play. The unpredictable force of the gravity factors means that if you time it just right, you can glide from planet to planet. There are both single player games and a whole section of multi-player games, it is both frustrating and addictive to play.
Single player games include some classic platforming; in Perfect Moon controlling a man collecting stars, attempting to control the feet of a character in Moon Life – much harder than it sounds – while also trying to collect stars and a new take on the classic “Thrust” game genre in which you’ll soon learn that you need less power and more placement to navigate the tricky tracks.
All of this is tied together by a beautiful art style with highly detailed environments and stunning animation. The black and white style of Perfect Universe blends perfectly with the gameplay as if it had just emerged from your imagination and drawn onto a blank canvas. This art style tied with the relaxing in theory, yet challenging gameplay set in peaceful world is a true experience that you have to play to understand.
