Remember we told you about Kobojo’s PRIMAL LEGENDS? The wait is almost over — and the game is set to arrive on both Android and iOS in August.
Primal Legends combines elements of Match-3, real-time strategy, and collectible card games. Players battle their way across 150 levels and 8 game modes, discover more than 50 stunningly detailed heroes, and fight online opponents through intense real-time PvP combat.
THE STORY SO FAR
Theria was a peaceful place until the Stones of Power fell from the sky. Chaos spread across the world as the stones began to corrupt every animal they touched. Now it is up to the player to build an army of brave warriors to restore order to the world…
HOW TO PLAY
Each Primal Legends battle begins with a straightforward concept: matching tiles on the board so that groups of three or more of the same color can attack the enemy by taking out their tiles or chipping away at their important units. At the same time, matched titles charge up powerful Hero characters that can eventually unleash devastating results. Not all heroes deal direct damage, however: some heal or protect soldiers, while others increase their attack power … or even assassinate enemy heroes!
The careful application of basic troop attacks as well as the judicious (and regular) use of heroes is essential if players are to beat out each of the game’s 150 levels. Objectives can be varied: dropping the enemy’s hit points to zero, aiming at *specific targets* in the enemy camp, and much more 🙂
Cooperation with friends is a large parcel of the Primal Legends experience: Working with other players makes it easier to complete the collection of champions and thus unlock their full potential in-game. As battles are won and reward chests are unlocked, players are also able to level up their roster — developing advanced strategies that make the best of the interactions between heroes.
