Feral Interactive announced today that the critically acclaimed, classic strategy game ROME: Total War is now available for iPad. Developed by Creative Assembly and published by SEGA on Windows PC, and published by Feral Interactive on Mac, the gamehas been a critical and commercial favourite since its initial release on desktop in 2004.
A game of epic real-time warfare, ROME: Total War offers players a seamless mix of strategy and tactics to fight spectacular battles, while using diplomacy, subterfuge and assassination to pave the road to ultimate victory. Encompassing three centuries of conflict from the Punic Wars to the death of Augustus, the game captures the excitement and challenge of conquering and ruling the legendary Roman Empire.
ROME: Total War is one of the first AAA desktop strategy games to come to iPad and has been heavily optimised for the device, with reworked visuals and a host of features designed specifically for mobile gaming. The result is the most sophisticated strategy game available on tablet. A game of epic scale and great replayability, ROME: Total War for iPad allows the player to direct thousands of troops in real-time battles and build an empire using turn-based strategy, all through controls honed for the iPad’s touch-screen.

ROME: Total War for iPad will retail on the App Store for a one-time purchase of $9.99/£7.99/€9.99. There are no in-app purchases.
Minimum system requirements call for an iPad Air or later, iPad mini 2 or later, or an iPad Pro. The game requires 4 GB of free space and iOS 9.3.5 or later.
