Ubisoft invites players to enter the magical world of the Smurfs with the latest game installment, SmurfsTM Epic Run. Available today for free on the App Store, Google Play and Amazon, Smurfs Epic Run is a state-of-the-art 2D platform mobile game developed by Ubisoft Paris [Mobile]. The game challenges players to run, jump, glide, rush and dash through more than 100 levels, all with the goal of freeing the captive Smurfs.
With beautiful graphics inspired by Peyo, the creator of the Smurfs, the game’s storyline sees Gargamel casting an evil fog spell to capture all the Smurfs. Players, who can play as their favorite Smurf, including Smurfette, Papa Smurf, Handy Smurf, Brainy Smurf and more than a dozen other famous & funny characters, must run away from the fog, journey through lush worlds, gather powerful magic artifacts and save all of their Smurfs friends to become the hero of the village.
As players progress through the game, they can free iconic Smurfs and use their unique powers (dash, double jump, stomp, magnet, etc.) to rush through each level to set the best score; and then customize their Smurfs with cute companions, magic rings and artifacts for extra bonuses. “Each level is randomly generated to ensure that gamers do not play the same level twice and the gradual increase in difficulty guarantees a perfect balance between fun and challenge throughout the game,” says François Bodson, studio manager at Ubisoft Paris.

Smurfs Epic Run challenges players to earn great prizes everyday by collecting Golden Keys, completing Papa Smurf’s Daily Missions, spinning the Wheel of Fortune or asking Farmer Smurf for his “Good Deals.” Players will also unlock magic portals and travel to challenging and mysterious regions called Bonus Zones. Smurfs Epic Run also allows players to race and compete against their friends and other players around the world to establish the best score in the Weekly Tournament.
