Songs2See – the music game for real instruments – is the first of its kind that supports violin with its newest update released on 22th of May 2014. The violin note recognition gives players instant feedback on how well they intonate the songs while increasing their highscore. Optimal placement of fingers is shown on the violin neck and additional tools like slowing songs down make practice more fun and intuitive. Only a simple microphone is required for recording the players performance. The violin is already the ninth instrument to be supported and according to the developers this is just the beginning. Out of the box the user can select between guitar, bass, ukulele, trumpet, clarinet, saxophone, recorder (flute), piano and violin. Even other instruments are possible by customizing clef and transposition.
While giving flexibility in terms of instruments, Songs2See offers also complete freedom on the music content. With the Songs2See Editor, players can import any song from their music collection and turn it into practice content for the Songs2See Game right away – gone are the days of boring songlists and expensive DLCs.
