Today, Ubisoft announced that Just Dance 2014, the newest instalment of the No. 1 selling dance game franchise*, is available on October 4 in the United Kingdom on Nintendo’s Wii™ and Wii U™, Sony’s Playstation®3 computer entertainment system and Microsoft’s Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system.
Continuing the tradition of including a variety of the hottest new songs and old school hits, Just Dance 2014 includes more than 45 top songs with highlights such as “Applause” by Lady Gaga, “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke Ft. Pharrell, “Kiss You” by One Direction, “Get Lucky” by Daft Punk Ft. Pharrell Williams, “Starships” by Nicki Minaj and also “Roar” by Katy Perry, available as a free DLC on the launch day of the game.
“Just Dance has been able to take my music to a more interactive level and connect millions of fans with the songs in a way that brings them into the actual experience. I look forward to watching people dance to our music in the game for years to come”, says famous songwriter/producer Dr. Luke, who notably composed and produced Katy Perry’s “Roar” included in Just Dance 2014.
With whole new features this year, Just Dance takes the experience a step further for the fans, notably with the World Dance Floor, Just Dance’s first-ever online multiplayer mode, where players join a virtual crew – made up of real-life friends or other Just Dance fans –, compete based on different themes (“Boys Vs Girls”, “Crew Vs Crew”) and dance with the whole world!
To celebrate the launch of Just Dance 2014, Autodance 2014 by Just Dance is now available for all iOS and to follow on Android devices. Autodance 2014 by Just Dance is the only video making app that lets players create unique choreographies set to some of today’s hottest hits right from their Smartphone.
