Archive Entertainment is excited to announce the immediate availability of the PvP update for 8BitMMO, available for free to all players. 8BitMMO is an indie construction sandbox game with over 50,000 registered players where users can build houses, castles, even entire cities in a retro-style massively multiplayer world.
A major update to the game was just released which enables Player vs Player gameplay, rewarding users for engaging in combat in specified arenas. As the world is 100% player-built, any player can create a PvP arena. Arenas can be marked for simple PvP gameplay or for a more advanced ‘Bounty’ game mode in which players compete for the highest consecutive kill count. Alternatively, players may build their own Dungeon areas, which will allow for Player vs Environment gameplay.
