As its name implies, the Play Wireless franchise is evolving. After having launched Evolution Planet for iOS and Android in September 2015, Play Wireless now presents Evolution Planet – Gold Edition. It’s a new version which is now also available on iOS and Android and which includes Mac and Amazon among its platforms. However, what’s most important is that this brand new title also includes a variety of relevant changes in comparison with the original.
Encouraged by the great popularity the game has enjoyed among its followers, the Evolution Planet team of developers took up the challenge of providing a game for a greater audience, therefore extending its availability to more devices. Adapting the EP-GE was thus a tough challenge for the development team, as it meant freeing the game of its predecessor’s limitations: unlike in its Freemium version for iOS and Android, in EP-GE there are no in-app purchases, no internet connection is needed, and there are no blocks and no ads.
Moreover, in a second, completely new Survival game mode available exclusively to Mac users, the player has to resist as long as he can in order to get the highest score possible. He must combine creatures in groups of three and fight off each and every opponent who places obstacles in his way. This new game mode is to be included in the next game update for iOS, Android and Amazon and in any other platforms that may feature the product in the future.
In short, Evolution Planet – Gold Edition for iOS, Android, Mac and Amazon can be downloaded paying a one-off fee, after which no further payments using real money will be required at any time within the game. You can play the game without an internet connection, even if you are using airplane mode or have no network coverage.
In this version, moreover, the player won’t need to unlock the islands anymore, something that in the original Freemium version required the help of your Facebook friends. Finally, it should be pointed out that EP-GE is free of ads. With the new game being launched, Evolution Planet Freemium is no longer available on iOS and Android stores.
Evolution Planet – Gold Edition Evolution Planet takes its users to a world full of lovely creatures facing their greatest adventure: the struggle for survival. Evolution is the strongest weapon Mother Nature provides them with in order to face this fight. However, the theory of evolution you know doesn’t have anything to do with how it is being played in Evolution Planet. With more than 100 levels spread out over 6 islands the players will have to wrack their brains in order to make their way through forests, icy lands, volcanos, deserts and the jungle. Nothing will ever be as easy as it seems, and every step in evolution means taking a risk. And then there are the enemies, the mutant creatures which are always trying to fight for regression.
