Somewhere in the future, at the edge of the known galaxy, an alien infestation has overrun a vital human colony. Essential to the survival of humankind, a crack team of the Space Sluggers Elite Corp has been sent to eradicate the threat. They’re humanity’s first and last line of defence against a bugged-out, mutated alien horde that takes no prisoners!
Space Sluggers is a stylish and unique re-imagining of the twin stick multiplayer shooter, featuring:
•Distinct gameplay for each hero: five heroes and five different ways to play the game, each with their own upgrade paths. Whether you prefer a full-on, gun-toting, shooter style marine hero, a more keep-away sniper, or that of a tactical engineer with the ability to build remote defences and robots, the game has that and more.
•Game impacting RPG upgrades: players can upgrade their chosen character across a variety of stats and skill-sets. Both rogue-like (temporary) and permanent upgrades are available, allowing for players to progress further and experiment along the way.
•Shock and awe: different heroes mean a variety of weapons and special attacks. Space Slugger HQ back on Earth never stops imagining new and deadly ways to squash bugs, so keep looking for weapon drops.
•Multiplayer for up-to 4 players: find the right blend of Space Sluggers to cooperatively take down the alien infested planets. Sometimes, 4 straight up gun-thugs will find the going tough, so you might sometimes have to mix it up.
