Aksys Games is pleased to announce that the second DLC for Muramasa Rebirth, entitled “Genroku Legends – A Cause to Daikon For,” will be released on PlayStation®Network for the PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system on February 25th in North America and February 26th in Europe. Based in the same universe as Muramasa Rebirth, “Genroku Legends – A Cause to Daikon For” tells the tale of Gonbe, a widowed farmer, as he leads a rebellion against a negligent lord. Put your swords down and pick up the nearest…er..hoe and get ready to plow down enemies that stand in your way!

About “A Cause to Daikon For”

Villages are starving and heavy taxes crush the populace, so Gonbe decides to join a farmer’s rebellion against Governor Hatono. After taking up with this motley crew, Gonbe receives a visit from his dead wife, asking him to join her in the afterlife instead. However, the honorable farmer chooses to fulfill his promise to the rebels and, with the help of his ghostly wife, sets out on a journey to stop the ruthless governor!

Hoes, Bamboo Sticks, and a Ghost! – With hoe in hand and a host of other farming tools-turned-weapons, Gonbe can attack near or far! He can even call on his farming buddies to help out in a pinch, or have his ghostly wife “lift” him out of difficult situations.

New Bosses and Characters – “A Cause to Daikon For” has a host of new bosses and enemies that Gonbe will come across. He’ll need all his strength and cunning to fend off Governor Hatono’s forces.

Challenges Galore! – Take Gonbe into Momohime and Kisuke’s world to battle bosses like the Dragon God! Will Gonbe and his wife stand a chance?
