MMA Manager Free out for iOS & Android Today

Bit By Bit Games have released a new free/ad-supported version of our game MMA Manager ( http://mmamanagergame.com) for iOS & Google Play today (Wednesday the 18th of November).

What is it?
It’s a mobile management game about running your own MMA Fight Team. The game has the “management sim” core features like upgrading premises, buying equipment, managing income/outgoings, recruitment, training etc with the addition of a very deep fight and fight leagues simulation. This is combined with a deep procedural system for fights that play out narratively, like a combination of a text adventure being decided by the AI and play by play write ups of actual MMA matches. It’s a little bit New Star Soccer, a little bit Football Manager and a little bit Motorsport Manager.

What do people think of it?
The App Store & Google Play reviews of the original are sitting on a solid 4 .5 stars so the people that have actually been playing it really enjoy it.

Why are Bit By Bit releasing a free version?
A few reasons really:
•First and foremost, the fact our player reviews and feedback have been so positive they’ve given us more confidence that players that were perhaps put off by the price would be more willing to give it a try without that initial barrier of paying for it.
•We think we’ve integrated Adverts into the game flow well so they fit the feel of the advertising actually shown during sports events. Hopefully, players should agree that it reduces the level of intrusiveness of the advertising.
•Instead of taking the already released version free, we wanted to be able to experiment more without affecting our current players. We’ve had a hugely positive experience interacting with everyone that’s actually played the game & we’re willing to go out of our way to make sure that we don’t screw them over.
•Last, as with most games released on mobile it’s not sold as well as we need it to if we’re going to continue developing it. Hopefully the free version should help alleviate that and help spread the word about the game.
