RPG Adventure Creepy Castle, Crawling onto Windows, OSX and Linux this Summer (Video)

Nicalis Inc., a publisher known for its work on critically-acclaimed titles such as The Binding of Isaac, 1001 Spikes and Cave Story, today revealed that it will publish the sidescrolling RPG adventure Creepy Castle for Windows, OSX and Linux this summer.

Featuring a vibrant retro art style, Creepy Castle follows the journey of a plucky adventurer, Moth (who, yes, happens to be a moth), as he investigates a conspiracy welling deep within the stone walls of an ancient castle.

Broken into multi-hour scenarios, each will take players on an entirely unique adventure with its own characters, story and gameplay that piece together the mysteries of Creepy Castle. Explore the castle’s countless floors and corridors to uncover the secret conspiracy being hidden within Creepy Castle and help Moth on his adventure to save the world!

Features of Creepy Castle
· Follow not just one, but many stories, with each scenario featuring its own characters, plot and gameplay that piece together the mysteries of the creepy castle’s multi-hour adventures. What lies in store is a secret too vast to be contained!
· Duel it out with a multitude of denizens and bosses via a unique turn-based combat system and utilize the element of skill to overcome each foe! But be careful, as each enemy has its own type of Duel and special twists that they bring to battle.
· Collect and inspect various dusty tomes containing words of wisdom, scribbled musings of madmen and dog-eared correspondences which help form a comprehensive collection of lore that gives insight into the dopterra universe!
· Players can customize the game interface to their liking! Choose from various window skins, character glow filters and even health bars and hearts for both the player and enemies.

Developed by dopterra and published by Nicalis, Creepy Castle is currently in development for Windows, OSX and Linux and is slated for release this summer.
