Independent studio Ape Law is set to release Episode 1 of the psychological horror game Albino Lullaby for PC tomorrow, September 15. The studio, comprised of veterans from Bioshock: Infinite, top-selling indie title Chivalry: Medieval Warfare and the Tomb Raider reboot, will launch the fully VR compatible game.
Hailed by Rock, Paper, Shotgun’s Adam Smith as, “2015’s smartest horror game…” Best summarized by Polygon’s Collin Campbell, who wrote, “Part Stanley Parable and part Alfred Hitchcock… This is a sick place, full of sick allusions and sick jokes”.
“We are hitting the reset switch on the genre and bringing horror games back to the days of film when suspense ruled and great masters like David Lynch and Alfred Hitchcock used our minds to scare us more than anything onscreen,” said Justin Pappas, creative director of Albino Lullaby and Founder of Ape Law.
Albino Lullaby: Episode 1 is available now for $9.99 or as part of the Season One Pass for $24.99 and can be purchased on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/355860
