ArcheAge Begins – A mobile “interpretation” of the original PC MMO (Video)

Mobile games publisher GAMEVIL and developer XL Games have partnered together in a collaborative effort to bring ArcheAge Begins, the mobile interpretation of the popular PC MMORPG ArcheAge.

Developed by Korean developer Jake Song and XL Games, ArcheAge was released in Korea in 2013 and was critically acclaimed for its vast open world gameplay, lush environments, and a unique ship creation system unlike any other MMO. Having amassed over 2 million players globally, XL Games and Co. now look to continue upon that success as they venture into the mobile industry by partnering with GAMEVIL.

Adapting PC games to the mobile platform proves to be its own unique challenge; delivering a genuine mobile experience while remaining faithful to its original PC predecessor. GAMEVIL has published other PC to mobile titles such as Kritika: The White Knights, which was a redesign of the popular Korean MMO Kritika Online. Having found success in converting such a popular title, GAMEVIL and XL Games look to deliver another hard hitting mobile RPG experience with ArcheAge Begins.
