The saga of the mage gnome Wilbur, the adventurer Nate, the elf princess Ivo – and of course the notorious Critter – continues: can Wilbur prevail in the School of Wizardry and Witchcraft, both against his students and the malicious political movement? Will Ivo find out more about the curse that’s supposedly been placed on her and the crazy, much-too-pink plague? And will Nate ever be sober enough to be of any help?

With this new chapter, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 edges closer to its final release, planned for early 2015. As before, developers KING Art Games are building on the involvement of the players: since its release, feedback from Kickstarter and Early Access backers has been flowing back into the game’s development in order to release one of the best adventures of all time in 2015. With a targeted playing time of approximately 25 hours, it is definitely one of the most extensive. Additionally for the first time in a classic adventure game, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 offers side quests and different costumes for the player characters. And thanks to Projection Mapping technology scenes appear considerably livelier, accompanied perfectly by a fantastic soundtrack. The whole package is rounded off by top-class voice acting as fans of the series would expect.

Fans can already pre-order The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 and gain access to the Early Access phase, running since the third quarter. Of course they will also be able to download the completed game at the beginning of 2015. Those with a little patience, however, can look forward to a beautiful boxed version of the game next year with all of its final content.
