GUNFINGER adds major multiplayer update, out now on the App Store

Pixel Toys has announced a significant new update for the popular ‘tap to shoot’ game GUNFINGER, which will leverage the GameSparks platform to introduce exciting new multiplayer game modes. The update is due for imminent release on the App Store and will enable players around the world to compete in new challenges released every day on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

GUNFINGER is a 3D first person arcade-style shooter with a unique aiming mechanic that pits you against hordes of undead hillbillies. Created by Pixel Toys, the studio’s group of seasoned developers have focused on bringing innovative touch screen gameplay and console-level visuals to mobile gaming.

The tap to shoot, hold to aim game mechanic sets GUNFINGER apart from other 3D shooters. Andrew Wafer CEO of Pixel Toys said: “With just one touch of the screen in GUNFINGER the player can aim with extreme precision and pull off some very skilful trick shots.” But it’s the exciting new multiplayer modes that he believes will keep players coming back, Wafer continues: “Multiplayer will let players discover who the greatest GUNFINGER agent in the world is, the game creates a new challenge for all players to compete in every day, so there’s always going to be something new to test them.”

The game offers players a wide variety of weapons and power ups to beat over 90 missions. Players fight off the undead in multiple vibrant environments and must learn how to defeat different types of zombies whilst improving their trigger fingers and global ranking to beat out their friends.

Gunfinger utilises the new GameSparks platform to power its leaderboards and release new missions and challenges to players. CEO of GameSparks, Griff Parry said, “With Gunfunger, Pixel Toys have produced a very impressive new title in the 3D shooter space. We are very happy to be working with them and we are looking forward to helping them scale on our platform.”
