Publisher Plug In Digital Label and game developer Flying Oak Games today announced that NeuroVoider, a twin-stick shooter RPG, is available now for early access on Steam. The game will launch this summer on Steam for PC, Mac and Linux and will also be available for Xbox One and PS4.
NeuroVoider is set in a cyber futuristic world where brains shoot evil robots with nuclear rocket launchers. Battle through the horde of vigilant robots, boost characters with the smoking remains of victims, and defeat the master NeuroVoider to end this eternal war. Play it coop with up to 4 friends, or go alone in an adventure of hack’n’slash rampage, with a pinch of rogue-lite, and some permadeath.
“It’s so important for us to get community feedback and involve players in our development process to make the best game we can,” said Thomas Altenburger from Flying Oak Games. “As fans ourselves of rogue-lite games, we know that its success is highly dependent on balancing all the content and we know our players’ opinions are crucial to this process.”
NeuroVoider is currently in beta and the early access version features many of the core features and some content, but during this early access period the team will be doubling the content, and adding game modes and a comprehensive tutorial.
“We have been so excited about the potential of this game since we signed NeuroVoider and can’t wait to see how the community works hand in hand with Flying Oak Games to make the game even better,” said Francis Ingrand, Plug In Digital CEO.
