Flying high at number three on the June Qi Android game chart, we have the ridiculously tough VVVVVV. Terry Cavanagh’s superb platform-adventure sees you flipping gravity on its head in a bid to negotiate a fiendish free-roaming space station. Immediately behind at number four, Dragon Quest VIII offers a sprawling JRPG world rich with detail and incident. It’s a console conversion, but a particularly thoughtful one, with a mobile-friendly portrait view and one-handed controls. Down at number six, meanwhile, Tales of the Adventure Company mixes the current obsession with roguelikes with a game of Battleship. Or, to use a more modern example, a game of Disco Zoo. Charging from the back of the chart, meanwhile, is Gameloft’s Rival Knights. This gorgeous casual brawler has you riding into jousts as a gallant knight, employing timing and IAPs to emerge victorious.
Web PC Suite takes the number one spot on the June Qi Android app chart with its handy wireless file management system. It lets you transfer media files by hooking up to your web browser – no USB cable required. Down at number four, meanwhile, is Solo Launcher, an extremely slick and streamlined Android launcher app. It offers a clean interface and a great way to personalise your home screens with hundreds of themes. At number five we have Tomi File Manager, a great file manager app that automatically organises each file into an appropriate category. Finally, at number six, is VIPole Secure Messenger. As the name suggests, this handy app applies powerful encryption techniques to enable you to hold completely secure voice chats and send uncrackable instant messages.
