BBC Worldwide Digital Entertainment & Games and Legacy Games brings Jane Austen to life with the release of Jane Austen’s Estate of Affairs. In this new hidden-object adventure game for PC, players will take on the role of Christiana, the niece of beloved novelist Jane Austen. Shortly after Miss Austen dies, Christiana embarks on a journey to save her aunt’s estate and legacy. In this original story, Christiana must search for Jane’s lost novel and defend Austen’s impressive legacy.

Developed by BBC Worldwide Digital Entertainment & Games and Legacy Games, players will search for Austen’s unpublished novel, while solving challenging mini-games and puzzles smoothly integrated into the gameplay. Players will explore actual scenes from Austen’s life, such as Chawton House, where Jane wrote most of her best-known works. While exploring the environs, players can read excerpts from Austen’s own novels. The game faithfully mimics Regency period culture as the characters (both real and fictional) follow in Austen’s footsteps, hoping to uncover the lost manuscript.
