Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games and The LEGO Group today announced the launch of LEGO® Friends for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch available for download on the App Store.
Based on the popular LEGO Friends collection of building sets, the LEGO® Friends App lets players create their own summer adventure in Heartlake City alongside LEGO Friends Olivia, Mia, Stephanie, Emma and Andrea. Players explore and expand the adventure by unlocking new levels of friendship in fully narrated interactive stories, eventually earning “True Friend” status. Players take on the role of Olivia’s cousin and enjoy the companionship of a customisable pet that helps solve puzzles as they explore the city, make new discoveries, and unlock themed mini-games. Drive Stephanie’s pet patrol ATV to rescue a wounded fawn in Whispering Woods while helping her earn a role as a newspaper reporter. Help Andrea sing and dance in her very own concert on the Heartlake Stage. Inspire Emma with fashion design ideas, build outfits, and get invited to Summer Riding Camp. Win the Heartlake High Science Fair with Olivia and her pet robot Zobo before joining your new friends for a slumber party in Olivia’s Treehouse. Create amazing memories and enter a world where the fun with your friends never stops!
The game features a smartphone-inspired interface including text messages from friends, photo collections, and an interactive map that allows players to explore Olivia’s House, Heartlake High, Main Street, Clover Meadows and Heartlake Marina. Designed for LEGO Friends fans, the youngest players can experience the adventure with little to no reading and intuitive touchscreen controls, along with a task guide with hints and notes on what to do. Experienced players will enjoy the increasing difficulty of the 11 replayable mini-games, hidden diary entries, extensive character and pet customisation, and over 10 hours of adventure gameplay.
