Firefly Studios, creators of the Stronghold series and popular Castle MMO Stronghold Kingdoms, are proud to announce their 1,500,000th user and a launch date for their thirteenth game world.
The English-language ‘World 7’ is set to launch on Wednesday 23rd January at 11:00 AM GMT in response to rising player numbers. This increase, which has been consistent since the launch of Stronghold Kingdoms on Steam last year, has caused the Kingdoms player base to swell from 500,000 to 1,500,000 in under a year. As a relatively small independent developer Firefly are of course delighted with the attention, launching another game world in order to meet demand.
Several new staff and additional development to the game has lead to many new additions in the past year. These include a new Quests system, prize-giving Quest Wheel, Vacation Mode, Weather and Sound Effects and more, each feature proving popular with players. Stronghold Kingdoms now has more than 1,500,000 registered users looking after their kingdoms from more than 100 different countries. Firefly hopes ‘World 7’ will be the first of many new game worlds in 2013.
